Help with Netscape Mail

How to Configure Netscape Mail so you can receive mail from the mail server.

Step 1 : Open Netscape Mail

Double Click open the Netscape Icon on your desktop, or select the Netscape Messenger from the "Start" Menu Bar

Step 2: - Open Preferences

From the "Edit" menu select "Preferences"

Step 3 - Setup the outgoing mail server
This will tell the mail server where to get your mail

On the left column of "Preferences" select "Mail Servers"

"Outgoing mail (SMPT) server" is "mail.wiredhosting.com"

"Outgoing mail server user name" is "yourname/yourdomain.com"

Click "Add"

Step 4 - Setting the incoming Mail Server
This will tell the mail server where to send your mail
Click the "Add" button next to incoming mail servers

"Server Name" is "mail.wiredhosting.com"

"Server Type" is "POP 3 Server"

"User Name" is "yourname/yourdomain.com"

Check "Remember Password" if you do not want to enter your password everytime you check mail

Click "OK"

Step 5 - Finishing Up

Click "OK" on the "Preferences" screen

That's it. You are done!
